Hi everyone, We have just completed our symposium, Mythology & Poetry in Clay, with Lauren Gallespy and Virgil Ortiz. It was inspiring and thought-provoking. Thanks so much to the demonstrating artists, Laura Wellen, Perry Price, and the Symposium Committee. Thanks also to Hans Molzberger and his students for wonderful hosting at Houston Baptist University. Look for snippets on the CH FB page. "Clay and Community", our member show at TEAplusART, brought together all varieties of ceramic art and was our response to Hurricane Harvey, as a portion of the proceeds went to Houston artist hurricane relief. Our new signature event, the Studio Crawl, is planned for December 3 and will focus on clay artists with studios in the Heights. We really appreciate everyone who made these events possible and all our members who participated. Kudos to ClayHouston! Thank You, Nell Gottlieb P.S.
