Who:  This event invitation is extended to all ClayHouston members

What:  A casual critique of members' work to help brainstorm ideas and troubleshoot

When:  November 10th (second Monday night) from 6PM to 8PM

Where:  Art Supply on Main (2711 Main Street #100, Houston, TX 77002)

Why:  To establish a community of ceramic artists within Houston

How:  Bring your actual work or photos of your work.  We will have a laptop and a projector with a VGA cable.  You can bring your photos on a cd, thumbdrive, etc, or bring a device which can accept a VGA interface.  We will not have internet access, so be sure your photos are saved to your device.  A Clay Houston member will be there to help with the technology.  If you have questions regarding bringing photos or a device, please email Lisa Kelley at midpointart@gmail.com

Guest critique leader for the month: Karen Fiscus

Karen has been working in clay since high school.  She is drawn to clay due to the limitless possibilities.  Early in her learning process, Karen desired to master consistency while throwing.  Later, she began to work in thrown and altered forms.  She has a Master of Arts in ceramics from the University of HoustonundefinedClear Lake.  She is the Gallery Assistant for the UHCL gallery.  ClayHouston welcomes Karen!  For more info:
