Eligibility and Media
This exhibit is open to all current ClayHouston members. Each work must be made mainly of clay with other mediums taking a minor roll in the piece. Each member can submit up to 3 pieces. Wall mounted work must not exceed 48”x 48”. All wall mounted work must be delivered ready to hang. Non-wall pieces must fit on a 24”x 24” pedestal. Each piece must be accompanied by appropriate hanging hardware. Please note on your submission page if any stand is included in the price.
A non-refundable fee of $15 for member and $50 for new members ($35 membership fee plus $15 entry fee) is required. Payment can be made online with registration form or by mail with a check payable to ClayHouston mailed to Elizabeth DeLyria, 2311 Merrill Hills Circle, Katy, TX 77450
Enter one image per work. Digital images must be in JPEG format, at least 300 dpi, sized so the largest dimension is 6 inches (1800 pixels). Each image must be labeled as last name, first name and the corresponding entry number from your entry form. ie SmithJohn1.jpg, SmithJohn2.jpg and SmithJohn3.jpg.
All images of accepted work will be retained until after the show. By entering the ClayHouston Member Show, each artist gives 18 Hands Gallery permission to use the submitted digital images for publicity purposes. Any work that differs appreciably from the submitted images can be rejected at the discretion of the reviewing committee.

Once you submit your application you will receive a confirmation email with instruction to submit your images.
The exhibition will be installed by one or more people associated with 18 Hands Gallery. The show will run from Nov. 7 – Dec. 2, 2015.
Delivery of Work
All work must be delivered in a stackable box/containerwith a lid and packed securely. Label the box with your name, name of piece and attach a photo of your work to the outside of the box. Inside the box/container, please have either a copy of your entry form or paper with this info: artist name, address, contact info, title of work and the price of the work.
18 Hands Gallery will take great care in handling all work. The work will be insured while in 18 Hands’ possession. The artist is responsible for insuring work while in transit (both ways).
All pieces entered in the show must be for sale. The commission rate is 50%. Any orders received as a result of 18 Hands Gallery and its owners will be subject to the standard 50% commission. Please quote RETAIL prices on the submission form. Checks for work sold in November will be mailed on or before December 15, 2015. 18 Hands Gallery is not responsible for work left at 18 Hands Gallery past December 31, 2015 at 5PM.
All works must remain for the duration of the show. 18 Hands Gallery reserves the right to photograph work for publicity purposes. Submission of the entry application signifies the artist’s understanding and acceptance of the rules and conditions of the show. 18 Hands Gallery has the right to remove from the show work that exhibits cracks or flaws, work that is not appropriate for their clientele, work that seems to be unstable (too easy to tip over) or overpriced (if someone doesn't want to sell unless they get an inflated price).

Opening Night will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 6‐9PM. All artists are welcome to attend.
