2017 ClayHouston Member Show at Tea + Art
October 4 - November 5, 2017
Call for Entries August 1 - September 15
From sculptural works, to functional vessels, wheel-thrown to hand-built, each artist approaches their work in a unique way but with the use of clay in common. Ceramics is an incredibly flexible medium of expression and the diverse group of ClayHouston artists come together to share a love for this material. This common thread creates a unifying force in our community - the element that brings us all together.
This year’s ClayHouston Member show demonstrates the phenomenal range of work within our community. The flexibility of the ceramics medium will be on display but also something more, a sense of the relationships that we have built with one another.
Please join us by submitting work for the show. This is a non-juried show in which any member may submit work and participate.
