Annual ClayHouston
End of Summer Bash 2026

The ClayHouston End of Summer Bash 2026 is a family and friends event meant to celebrate the vibrant and dynamic clay community in Houston. ClayHouston wishes to thank all of its members for their participation in the organization by promoting this social gathering filled with fun activities in a relaxed, and friendly environment. The event includes a silent auction fundraiser, Clay Bingo and more! ClayHouston members must register to get up to 2 beverage tickets (beer or lemonade), depending on their membership level. Food and other beverages are not included on ClayHouston’s invitation. Best of all, the event is FREE to all members and friends!

If you love ceramics and love art, come to the ClayHouston End of Summer Bash 2026. Bring your family, get a drink, meet old friends, make a new friend, have fun!

Ceramic Shot Glass Exchange
The Ceramic Shot Glass Exchange is a fun way to show your work, see other peoples work and get to know your fellow members.  Bring up to 4 of the best ceramic shot glasses you made, and to increase your odds of winning a door prize.  You will receive an additional ticket for the door prize drawings for each shot glass you submit. The shot glasses will be put into individual bags.  At 2pm, you'll participate in a blind exchange toward the end of the event.  This is a fun opportunity to share a small example of your work and your signature style.  Shot glasses must be food safe and functional.  They can be thrown or hand built. The shot glass should hold no more than 2 ounces of liquid (1/4 cup) but can be any shape or size! Make sure to add your makers' mark and/or include your business card.

Silent Auction
The silent auction will have many exciting items including a one semester studio class at Glassell, workshops, ceramic pieces and other art from your favorite local artists just to name a few.

Clay Bingo
Try your luck at a game of Bingo for a chance to win a gift basket packed with tools and goodies for art lovers and makers of all ages.
