His latest solo exhibition features new works that invite viewers to contemplate the raw beauty of materials and the unpredictability inherent in the process of creation. Here the accidental becomes essential, and the medium is a collaborator. These works are rooted in a dialogue between artistic intention and natural forces. Jeff Forster's work also reflects his profound respect for the environment with his thoughtful commitment to repurposing found and discarded objects.

Jeff Forster joined the Glassell School of Art faculty in 2009 and is the head of the ceramics department. He has a BA from St. John’s University and an MFA from Southern Illinois University. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, winning multiple awards as well as completed several residency programs both in the U.S. and abroad.
